ABOUT
PETER was born in Budapest, Hungary and started photographing with his first East-German camera, a Beiret at the age of eleven. Following the early years of exploring photography he studied from and was mentored by well-respected Hungarian masters of the medium, such as Hajtmanszki Zoltán, Gottl Egon, Töke Béla and Féner Tamás.
During these years Peter gained a Diploma in Photojournalism from Népszabadság, Hungary's leading Newspaper plus school and workshop of Journalism. Upon graduating Peter practiced photojournalism, working for several
magazines, and newspapers, and along these years found his voice and style, that combines the technical quality of commercial photography (proven by his illustrations and advertising works) with his frank and open approach to his subjects ensuring the credibility and authenticity of his reportage and portraits. Peter was the head photographer and photo editor of Diplomata Magazin, besides he fulfilled positions like the official photographer for the Hungarian Ministry of Workforce and Employment and the official visit of the Maltese Prime Minister to Budapest.
In 2004 Peter moved to Sydney, Australia and the challenges of the new market called his attention to new media.
